If you have done research on the available products to consumers, you may have found that in addition to new you can also find re built as well as used equipment. Did you also know that there is an option better than rebuilt that's just about as good as new? Re Manufactured products are just that; Re-Manufactured. Aside from the obvious that yes there are parts of these products that are not brand new, but the quality of those parts are by all reasonable means about as good as new. Below we explain the difference in what you get when you buy new, used goods that are repaired (rebuilt) and then re-manufactured.

First we look at new.

New, goods made from raw unused material, and usually we think of these as the best. Things to consider about new goods used in this market of Pool, Spa and hot tubs; most new products are manufactured in another country including but not limited to China, Mexico, Japan, Hungry, Chez, and so on. Why? When it comes to manufactured goods, those used in this industry are really considered disposable. To keep the costs down and remain profitable and competitive, manufactures must turn to foreign country's that can produce for less than America. We can argue the facts here; I don't like any of the reality of what we are supporting by purchasing and using these products. Even knowing this, it’s come to a point that it’s almost impossible not to buy them. I happen to look for alternative goods when possible and will pay more too. These New products available today lack that quality that American made products have been famous for. We see almost double the quantity of new or near new (less than 1 year old) motors come to our facility that have already failed than we did just 5 years ago. That's a statistic you cannot ignore.

Next is rebuilt;

Rebuilt means that the motor has had the worn out parts replaced, it’s been cleaned and inspect it, and if you really know the motor, you know what needs to be replaced to ensure it will last many more years in service. Now let me say that rebuilt motors are not necessarily bad, we happen to rebuild just as many motors are we do re manufacture motors, the difference in a rebuild comes down to several key factors. The most important is experience. I can’t say enough about this aspect. If you have extensive knowledge and experience, I mean hands on experience in just about anything, it’s just a given you’re going to know what does and doesn't work and the right and wrong way to do what it is you do. We have 28+ years of experience in Hot Tub and spa equipment, the majority in motors. We have rebuilt and re manufactured more than a million motors in our company's history.

Finally we come to the Re- Manufactured Motor;

A re manufactured motor starts with basic core items that have been previously manufactured but have been carefully inspected, tested, and certified like new. These core items include the windings witch we carefully inspect, test, & coat with new lacquer to protect them for many years of service. Also the rotor sometimes called a stator if the motor produces electricity, is also inspected, checked for balance and balanced if necessary and then a special coating applied as well. The bell ends, metal cases, and other non-wearable parts are also inspected and checked for integrity and the cleaned and painted or coated. From this point in the process, all of the parts are categorized, labeled and returned to stock and when the time comes the assembly takes place. We Assemble all of our motors right here in the united states with the highest quality parts that are either new o.e.m. or have been manufactured to exceed the o.e.m. specification. The end result is a motor that has the components and has been assembled by the best industry professionals to provide many years of reliable service, just like brand new products. We are so confident in our products that we give a standard two year warranty on them. That's double the warranty of new motors.
